Star Wars vs Star Wars part 2

itunes pic
If the phrase, “may the force be with you,” is strange and foreign to your ears; if the name Darth Vader doesn’t immediately conjure the sound of heavy breathing to your brain; if you have to ask your friend what a Storm Trooper or a Wookie is, then you need to be taken to the back of the Millenium Falcon, and then beaten furiously with toy light sabers. For the rest of the civilized world–and we speak, of course, of those people who don’t reside beneath a Death Star-sized boulder–those words and phrases can mean only one thing: Star Wars.

With total franchise revenues upwards of $27 billion dollars, Star Wars is one of the biggest franchises of all time. So what does it take to create such a massive success? We’ll give you a hint…a lot. How was it conceived? How did it change the world as we knew it? Which trilogy is better? What can we expect from the highly anticipated Episode VII? Join Dana Buckler and Jonathan Geneva as they embark on a two part retrospective of George Lucas’ ground-breaking masterpiece. This week on How is this Movie?: Star Wars vs. Star Wars.
